Young Historics to Hit the Stages

The draft 2022 TOSFED Rulebook has been published on the TOSFED website and will remain open for comment until 17:00 on Wednesday 16 February.
While no major changes have been made across the disciplines, the most significant novelty is in historic rallying, which is open to classic cars. With the addition of the FIA J1 and J2 categories, 'young historic' rally cars homologated up to 1990 will be able to compete in the Turkish Historic Rally Championship from this season.
Under the new regulations, many cars sitting in garages will be eligible to enter the championship, including the Suzuki Swift GTI, Renault 9, Renault 12 Toros, Renault 11 Flash, Renault 11 Turbo, Lada Samara, Skoda Favorit, Opel Corsa GTE, Opel Manta 2.0, Opel Kadett GSI, Opel Ascona B, Peugeot 205 GTI, Peugeot 309 GTI and BMW 325 IX.
