The Evofone ESOK Rally, a round of the FIA European Rally Trophy organised by the Eskişehir Automobile Sports Club (ESOK), takes place in Eskişehir from 23-25 April. With a total of 90 cars and 180 competitors entered, including crews from Bulgaria and Romania, the rally will be held as part of the 2021 UNESCO Yunus Emre Commemoration and Celebration Year events.
As well as the FIA European Rally Trophy, the rally will award points towards the Shell Helix 2021 Turkish Rally Championship, the Turkish Historic Rally Championship and the Şevki Gökerman Rally Cup. It comprises 10 special stages with a total length of 150.74km.
The Evofone ESOK Rally begins with a ceremonial start in front of espark at 21.30 on Friday 23 April, and will be run over two days on a 335.17km tarmac route.
The first day, Saturday 24 April, starts at 10.00 from the Service Park at Cassaba Modern and finishes back at the Service Park at 15.40 after four special stages. The second day starts at 10.00 on Sunday 25 April and, after six special stages, concludes with the finish ceremony and prize-giving in front of espark from 15.45.
Under the pandemic measures made mandatory for organisers by the FIA, competitors, teams, media representatives and all other participants at the Evofone ESOK Rally will be required to present a PCR test taken within the previous 48 hours.
