Çelik-Bostancı to Contest Azores Rallye

Çağlayan Çelik, who finished the 2021 season as Turkish Rally Class 5 champion and Clio Trophy Turkey champion, will start the 56th Azores Rallye, the second round of the 2022 FIA European Rally Championship, with new co-driver Sedat Bostancı. The event takes place on 25-27 March on the Portuguese Azores islands.
Backed by aloft Bursa Hotel and Sheraton Bursa Hotel, with Turkmotorspor as media sponsor, the Çelik-Bostancı crew will start for the first time with Toksport WRT in a Renault Clio Rally4. They will also compete in the same car in Class 4 and the two-wheel-drive classification of the Shell Helix 2022 Turkish Rally Championship.
The Emre Hasbay-Kutay Ertuğrul crew, who will be rivals in this season's Clio Trophy by Toksport WRT series, held as part of the FIA ERC, will also make their first start in a Renault Clio Rally5 at this event.
