Castrol Ford Team Türkiye Heads to Cyprus with Four Crews

Having moved into the lead of the 2017 European Rally Championship teams' standings after the Acropolis Rally, Castrol Ford Team Türkiye will start round four of the championship in Cyprus with eight competitors...At Rally Cyprus, held in the south of the island, Murat Bostancı-Onur Vatansever will compete in a Ford Fiesta R5, while the crews of Buğra Banaz-Burak Erdener, Ümitcan Özdemir-Batuhan Memişyazıcı and İsmet Toktaş-Sedat Bostancı will start in front-wheel-drive 1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta R2T cars to strengthen Castrol Ford Team Türkiye's bid in the teams' championship.Over two days, the crews will tackle 14 special stages totalling 219.74 km on a demanding 724 km gravel rally. The CNP Asfalistiki spectator stage, which starts in the south and finishes in the north, will be run twice on Saturday 17 June as SS4 and SS8.
Eleven Turkish Cypriot crews will also start the rally. Rauf Denktaş-Derviş Savarona and Bora Manyera-Cem Çerkez will compete in the ERC1 class, Deniz Fahri-Barış Kalfaoğlu will start in ERC3, and Deniz Denner-Ömer Topcu in ERC2. Mehmet Yücel-Akan Keskiner, Mehmet Çocuk-Ahmet Akbıçak and Ömer Yıldız-Mustafa Yücener are the other Cypriot crews on the entry list.
