Round 5 of the 2015 Turkish Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Ankara Automobile Sports Club, was held at Çankaya on a new course this year, with 14 competitors from Bursa, Izmir, Ankara and Antalya taking part.

The event began with practice runs on Sunday 16 August and was run over two runs on a 6.2-kilometre course in the Kömürler district of Çankaya. With the cars competing in four separate categories according to engine capacity and technical specification, Bursa competitors made up the podium in Category 1, where Ülkü Motorsport driver Engin Apaydın took the win in a Citroen Saxo VTS. Burak Başlık finished second in a similar car, while Taner Oruç took the third step of the podium in a Fiat Palio.

In Category 2, Izmir's Galip Atar, driving a Fiat Punto S1600 for Ülkü Motorsport, was the fastest of the day, while Bursa's Semih Erkal finished second in a Renault Clio Williams and Ankara's Cem Şit took third in an Opel Astra GSI.

In Category 3, which had only two competitors, young Ankara driver Refik Bozkurt took the win in a Renault Sport Clio, followed by his closest championship rival, Bursa's İsmet Toktaş, in a Honda Civic Type-R.

In Category 4, the name on the top step of the podium was once again unchanged. Ümit Ülkü, racing a Porsche 997 GT3 for Ülkü Motorsport, won both his category and the "Fastest Time of the Day" award, and mathematically secured the championship title before the end of the season. Second place in this category went to Hakan Yuva of Antalya in a Fiat Punto S1600.

The 6th and final round of the Turkish Hill Climb Championship will be organised by the Eskişehir Automobile Sports Club (ESOK) at Kaynaşlı in Düzce on 30 August. With this event, the first champions of the 2015 season will be determined.
