Burak Başlık Fastest at Buharkent

Round 5 of the AVIS 2025 Turkish Hill Climb Championship, the Buharkent Hill Climb, was organised by the Ege Otomobil Spor Kulübü (EOSK) with the support of Buharkent Municipality. Run over three runs on a 7.59 km course, the event saw 15 competitors battle across 4 separate categories.

In Category 1, GP Garage My Team's İbrahim Cabacı took the class win, with Ahmet Aydınalp second to complete the podium. Another competitor in this category, Oğuz Alp Aral, retired from the event with a mechanical failure on the third run. Category 2 produced a father-and-son duel, with Demir Sancaklı taking the win ahead of father Tuncer Sancaklı, who was driving a similar car. Baran Demirkan took the final podium place in Category 2.

In Category 3, Hüseyin Yıldırım claimed victory, with Betül Gözde İlter, competing for BRS Motorsport, second and Hasan Erdoğan third. In Category 4, BRS Motorsport driver Burak Başlık took the win and also set the fastest time of the day, 05:06.20. Also in this category, Cem Yalın of GP Garage My Team finished second, while Şevket Çınar was third.

BRS Motorsport won the teams' classification at the Buharkent Hill Climb, while in the women's classification Yasemin Erikli in Category 2 and Betül Gözde İlter in Category 3 shared the class wins.

The AVIS 2025 Turkish Hill Climb Championship continues with round six, to be organised by the İstanbul Otomobil Spor Kulübü (İSOK) at Şile Darlık on 18-19 October.
