Buğra and CFTT Lead in Europe

The fifth round of the European Rally Championship took place on 4-5 August in Rzeszow, Poland.
In Rally Rzeszow, run over 619.91 kilometres of asphalt with a field of 38 crews, Turkey was represented on behalf of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye by Murat Bostancı-Onur Vatansever in a Fiesta R5 and Buğra Banaz-Burak Erdener in a Fiesta R2T.At the end of a tough rally in which 27 crews reached the finish, Murat Bostancı finished 14th overall, while Buğra Banaz took 21st overall and 5th in the ERC3 class.
Following these results, Castrol Ford Team Türkiye maintained its lead in the European Rally Team Championship with 127 points, while Buğra Banaz-Burak Erdener kept their place at the top of the ERC3 category in the European Rally Championship.
Speaking after the event, Castrol Ford Team Türkiye Team Director Serdar Bostancı said: "We have managed to complete one more of the toughest rallies in the European Rally Championship. There are three rounds left in this championship, which 37 teams are contesting, and our lead continues after this rally. We really want to bring the championship trophy to Turkey.
