Rally Bosphorus Scores Top Marks

Rally Bosphorus, Turkey's oldest and biggest international motorsport event, received one of its best-ever assessments, scoring 1074.5 points from British observer Andy Millns, who was appointed by the FIA.
TOSFED President Metin Çeker, speaking in the August issue of the federation's official magazine START FINISH, said: "I also made my own observations of the event, which earned a very high score from the FIA observer this year. I would especially like to say how proud I am that a very strong team, one I have worked alongside and to whom we can entrust the future of Turkish motorsport, delivered such a well-organised event through its own internal hierarchy. I thank everyone who contributed, all the clubs that gave their support and the provincial supervisory committees."
BOSTANCI-VATANSEVER LEAD THE EUROPEAN RALLY TROPHY
Castrol Ford Team Türkiye crew Murat Bostancı and Onur Vatansever, who made a fast start to the European Rally Trophy with victory in the Rally Bulgaria a week before Rally Bosphorus, also took the lead of the trophy with their win in Rally Bosphorus.
Having scored 154 points from each of the two events, Murat Bostancı leads the European Rally Trophy standings on 308 points. Rashid Al-Ketbi of the United Arab Emirates follows on 294 points, with Rally Madeira winner Bruno Magalhaes in third.
As TOSFED, we thank everyone who contributed to the organisation of Rally Bosphorus and all the participants, and we wish Castrol Ford Team Türkiye drivers Murat Bostancı and Onur Vatansever every success in the European Rally Trophy...
