Betül Demir to Become a Co-Driver

At the ITO Istanbul Rally, organised by the Istanbul Automobile Sports Club, known by its abbreviation İSOK, Betül Demir, one of the powerful voices of Turkish pop music, is preparing to act as co-driver in one of the course cars. On 9-10 September, on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Demir will gain her first experience in the ECUFAST-backed Renault Megane driven by Furkan Atik. Having won praise and made a strong start with her album 'Esas Duruş', released in July, Betül Demir will be introduced to motorsport through the Istanbul Rally.
FREE SPECTATOR SHUTTLES FROM BOSTANCI AND TUZLA
On the opening day of the rally, which starts from İPOP at 13.00 on Saturday 9 September, the crews will tackle the Mudarlı and Darlık stages twice before competing in the spectator stage at Istanbul Park from 18.27, completing the first day. Free circular shuttle services will depart from in front of the Bostancı IDO Pier at 16.00 and from Tuzla town square from 11:00.
52 CARS AND 104 COMPETITORS TAKE PART
With a total of 52 cars and 104 competitors from different provinces of Turkey, made up of 28 national entries, 9 historic cars and 15 in the Renç Koçibey Cup class, the rally continues on Sunday 10 September with the Esenceli and Göçbeyli stages. After each of these stages has been run twice, the event will conclude with the Redbull.com Power Stage (bonus stage) at 15:00, and from 16:00 the crews will finish the ITO Istanbul Rally on the finish podium at İPOP. On Sunday, spectators will again be carried by free shuttle services, running in a circular route from Tuzla town square from 11:00 and from in front of the Bostancı IDO Pier at 13.00.
