Toksport WRT crew Orhan Avcıoğlu-Burçin Korkmaz, last year's Balkan Rally Cup champions, who are following the European Rally Championship this season, will start the Cyprus Rally, held in the Republic of Cyprus on 15-17 June.
In the demanding rally, which will feature 50 crews, 16 of them contesting the ERC classification in R5 machinery, the Avcıoğlu-Korkmaz crew will compete in the number 10 Skoda Fabia R5. The crew completed their final preparations with a test in Cyprus earlier this week. The Cyprus Rally, the fourth round of the season, stands out for a route that is 72% gravel and 28% asphalt.
The event begins on the morning of Friday 15 June with qualifying, and the first day of competition gets under way at 08:30 on Saturday. The crews will run three stages twice each before finishing the day at the service park from 15:30. On the morning of Sunday 17 June, the crews will start at 07:30 and will have to work hard through seven stages to reach the finish podium at 18:30.
