Atış Motorsport Takes Four Class Wins at Buharkent

The fourth round of the AVIS 2023 Turkish Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Ege Automobile Sports Club (EOSK) with the support of ICRYPEX and Buharkent Municipality, took place in the Buharkent district of Aydın on 29-30 July, with 31 competitors entered across five categories.
The event began with a ceremonial start in Buharkent square on Saturday 29 July and was run over two climbs of the 7.59-kilometre course on Sunday 30 July. In Category 1, Sevcan Sağıroğlu of the Atış Motorsport team took the win in a Ford Fiesta R1, with İbrahim Cabacı (Peugeot 106 GTI) second and İlker Aktaş (Opel Corsa GSI) third. In Category 2, Engin Apaydın of Atış Motorsport was the fastest of the day in a Ford Fiesta R2, while Tuncer Sancaklı (Renault Clio Rally5) finished second and Aykut Kefi (Ford Fiesta R1T) third.
In Category 3, Burak Başlık took the win for Atış Motorsport in a Peugeot 208 Rally4, while Reha Aybey, competing for Neo Motorspor in a Fiat Egea, was second and Murat Çetin (Ford Fiesta R2T) third. In Category 4, And Sunman of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye won in a Ford Fiesta Rally3, also setting the fastest time of the day with 05:01.50. Sinan Soylu finished the day second in this category in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, with Ümit Ülkü third in another Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX.
In Category 5, which is open to drift cars, Bahadır Sevinç of the Ülkü Motorsport team won in a Mazda RX-8, Burak Söğüt was second in a BMW E30, and Ertekin Tekneci third, also in a BMW E30.
In the women's classification, the wins were shared between Sevcan Sağıroğlu in Category 1, Eda Soylu in Category 3 and Kübra Denizci Keskin in Category 4. In the local classification, the winners were İlker Aktaş in Category 1, Aykut Kefi in Category 2, Reha Aybey in Category 3, Kübra Denizci Keskin in Category 4 and Bahadır Sevinç in Category 5.
The AVIS 2023 Turkish Hill Climb Championship will continue with the fifth round, to be organised by the Phrygia Automobile Sports Club (FSK) on 30 September-1 October.
